PDP Governors Meet President Jonathan

 State governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have paid the visit to the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan at the presidential villa in Abuja.

Meanwhile some governors were absent at the meeting. Among those who shun current leader of the country were governors Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Isa Yuguda (Bauchi), Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Gabriel Suswam (Benue), Ibrahim Shema (Katsina), Olusegun Mimiko (Ondo) and Ayo Fayose (Ekiti).
Akwa Ibom state governor Godswill Akpabio, the leader of the
PDP governors’ forum led his members to the meeting.
The governors present at the meeting are Emmanuel Uduaghan (Delta), Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe), Ramalan Yero (Kaduna), Lyel Imoke (Cross River), Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa), Sullivan Chime (Enugu), Jonah Jang (Plateau), Martin Elechi (Eboyin) and Idris Wada (Kogi).
Of the absentees only Fayose delivered his state to Jonathan in the Saturday’s presidential election.
